Hey, I'm Doug, a Creative Copywriter.
How much time have you got?
I'm in a rush, just give me the basicsI'm a creative copywriter and I really enjoy writing. From a tweet to a novel, I enjoy putting words together to see what happens.
Ok, I've got a bit more time, elevator pitch meI'm a creative copywriter currently working in London. Before entering the world of advertising I studied Creative Advertising at uni and won a Yellow New Blood Pencil. I discovered that I really enjoy writing, so chose it as a career. I've now worked in all sorts of agencies around London, writing and creating for all sorts of brands.
Fine. You got me, I'm not doing anything, tell me everythingI'm a creative copywriter. I write words and think of ideas, and I really enjoy doing it. I'm originally from Newcastle, but no one told my accent. I studied Creative Advertising at the University of Lincoln, won a Yellow D&AD New Blood Pencil and moved down to London. I've now worked in all sorts of agencies writing and thinking of stuff for all sorts of brands. I chose to study advertising as I want to be able to use my creativity to do a bit of good in the world. When I'm not writing for a living you can usually find me writing puns to go in my comics.
