The Cancer Party
Fair treatment for all.
A campaign to raise awareness of the charity 'ACT for Cancer'. As a charity they have a clear goal, to make access to fair cancer treatments a right, not a privilege.
Half of us will get cancer in our lifetimes, and it's hard to find someone who doesn't have some sort of personal connection to cancer. But the way we treat cancer is unfair. Your access to the best treatment can be limited by where you live in the UK.
This postcode lottery has made cancer treatment a political issue. And the best way to deal with a political issue, is to get political.
ACT for Cancer will rebrand into a political party, 'The Cancer Party'. The only party with just one policy - fair treatment for all.
As a launch stunt 'The Orange Line' will appear all across the UK separating postcodes by their access to cancer treatments.
One side states 'BS5 you're lucky to live on this side of the line' while the offer says 'BS16 your access to treatment is unfair'.
The Orange Line continues across social, and location-specific sponsored ads inform people which side of the line they live.
Posters encouraging people to join the party.
When people become party members they can share the message to get others in their area to join too. The message differs depending on which area you live in.
Brief done in collaboration with the wonderful Iki Choi.
