Liminal Southwark

While browsing charity shops in the summer of 2025, I came across a tiny 110 film camera - the "hamstar camera" - complete with a roll of 15-year-old expired film.

I didn't know what on earth I'd do with it, but knew I just had to have it - and for £6 I couldn't leave it behind.

On my walk home, I stopped by a slightly dingy back alley to take my first pic, and "Liminal Southwark" was born.

Over the next few weeks, during my wanderings around, I filled the roll - a snapshot of some of the lesser-visited transitional areas of the borough I call home.
